With only a few weeks left in 2024, White Horse Black Mountain hopes to be a part of your year-end charitable giving plans. While we have always been more than a music venue, in the weeks following Hurricane Helene we have become more resolved in our commitment to our community.

From distribution and connection center, gathering place to grieving place, we are grateful for the capacity to provide healing for our neighbors. With our new donation “pay what you can” model, our goal is to ensure every single person in our region can access the healing power of music regardless of their means.

During the weeks that followed the storm, we also founded the White Horse Community Fund, supporting the recovery projects of four local nonprofits. These organizations support our community’s most crucial needs: home repair, food access, winter heating support and mental health care. We have worked closely with these organizations and know them to be efficient with funds and mission-driven in their actions. 100% of donations will support the nonprofit organizations.

Thanks to an anonymous donor, the White Horse will be granted $25,000 for each $100,000 raised for the Community Fund. Donate today to help us receive these matching funds and keep our doors open!

Please take 10 minutes to make a tax-smart step and think forward with us for our collective healing.
