This documentary is a film commemorating and carrying on the vision of the Southeast Permaculture Gatherings. For more than 3 decades, the SEPG has been a living experience of bringing earth stewards together for a weekend in a shared village setting of community in nature. The time of shared meals prepared on-site, ceremony, education, song, and celebration has a way of healing and strengthening us individually and as a community. Together, we learn about our bioregions and ways we can help the earth and each other. We honor the generation that founded this gathering and are carrying it on to pass the torch to the next generations. This film is an invitation to be part of the gatherings going forward and is intended to be an inspiration and model for creating a bioregional network of more gatherings that bring people together in the spirit of love, earth stewardship, and authentic community connection.
