Virginia and the Slims is a jump blues and swing band that has been playing in WNC and touring for eight years.  Jump blues enjoyed its main period of popularity during and after World War II with small combos playing scaled-down arrangements of swing jazz numbers, emphasizing a driving beat.  This night is sure to be hoppin’!
