Come play cornhole for a cause at White Horse. Here’s how it works and what it’s all about:

Rules & Regulations:
Double Elimination
1. Tournament Format Double Elimination:
Each team must lose twice to be eliminated from the tournament. The tournament consists of a
Winners Bracket and a Losers Bracket:
• Teams start in the Winners Bracket. A loss moves a team to the Losers Bracket.
• A second loss in the Losers Bracket results in elimination.
• The final match is between the winners of each bracket. If the Losers Bracket team wins, an additional game is played to determine the champion.
2. Teams and Players Teams consist of 2 players each. Each game is played between two teams.
3. Game Play
Bag Toss:
• Players alternate tossing 4 bags each per round.
• One player from each team stands at the opposite board to alternate throws.
Scoring:
• In the Hole (bag goes through the hole): 3 points.
• On the Board (bag lands and stays on the board): 1 point.
Foul Bag (bag misses the board or hits the ground first): 0 points.
Cancellation Scoring:
• Points are calculated at the end of each round. Opposing bags in the hole or on the board cancel each other out.
• The team with the higher total scores the net points for that round.
4. Winning a Game The first team to reach or exceed 21 points wins the game.
5. Order of Play
Home team is the team who will throw first in the opening round and until the first point is scored Subsequent Rounds: The team that scored last throws first in the following round.
6. Player Conduct
No Interference: Players should not interfere with opponents’ throws.
Disputes: Any disputes are to be resolved by the cornhole commissioner.
7. General Rules Distance Between Boards: Boards are placed 27 feet apart, measured from the front edge of each board.
Foot Foul Line: Players must stay behind the front edge of the board while throwing.
8. No-Show/Forfeit Policy
Arrival Time: Teams must arrive and be ready to play within 15 minutes of their scheduled start time.
No-Show Forfeit: If a team does not arrive within the 15-minute window or leaves the tournament area, they forfeit the match, and the opposing team automatically advances to the next round.
Leaving Mid-Game:
If a team leaves mid-game, it is considered a forfeit, and the opposing team will move on in the bracket.
8. Bracket Advancement Winners Bracket: Teams that win their game move forward in the Winners Bracket.
Losers Bracket: Teams that lose once move to the Losers Bracket.
Championship Game: The last team in the Winners Bracket faces the last team in the Losers Bracket for the championship. If the Losers Bracket team wins, a final game is played to determine the overall champion.
