Thursday – July 17, 2025 at 6:30 pm – We are beyond excited to share this special evening with y’all
White Horse Black Mountain and the “ruby throated” Blues Chanteuse, Peggy Ratusz invite our members to celebrate the music of some of her biggest female Blues & Rock influences from the 1970’s. The decade saw a significant rise in the influence of female artists on the music landscape. These artists pushed boundaries and redefined what it meant to be a successful and influential musician in a male-dominated industry. From trailblazers like Bonnie Raitt and Irma Thomas, to genre-defying artists like Linda Ronstadt and Etta James, these women paved the way for future generations of female musicians. Their impact on the music industry and popular culture cannot be overstated.
Peggy could not be more excited about the superlative band she has assembled to help her pay tribute to these Sirens and Legends of 1970’s Blues & Rock. The incendiary guitarist and singer, Kelly Jones, the brilliant and gifted Taylor Pierson on keys, along with a phenomenal, groove-laden rhythm section consisting of Zack Page on bass and James Kylen on drums.
