Projection Requirements

for Movies and Slides

In-House Systems Preferred

We prefer to use our in-house computer systems to ensure compatibility and optimal performance. However, external laptops may be used if the event organizer visits White Horse at least 24 hours prior to the show for testing and compatibility verification with our projection system.

Movies

Movies must be provided in one of the following formats:

– Physical copy (DVD or Blu-ray disc, depending on the venue’s equipment.)

– Digital file delivered on a solid-state hard drive (SSD) or USB flash drive. USB flash drives are accepted only if received at least 24 hours prior to the movie showing for compatibility testing.

– Streaming is permitted, provided the end user acknowledges that interruptions during playback may occur due to internet connectivity or other technical issues.

– Streaming must be tested at least 3 days prior to the show to ensure compatibility with our systems.

– Preferred file formats for digital files: MP4, MOV, or AVI with a minimum resolution of 1080p.

Slides

Slide presentations must be submitted as digital files on a solid-state hard drive (SSD) or USB flash drive. USB flash drives are accepted only if received at least 24 hours prior to the event for compatibility testing.

– Preferred file formats: PowerPoint (.pptx,) PDF, or image files (JPEG, PNG) with a minimum resolution of 1920×1080.

– For slide presentations, the event organizer must provide an operator from their team to present the slides during the event. White Horse staff will assist with setup and testing but will not operate slide presentations.

Submission Deadline

All materials, including USB flash drives, external laptops, and streaming setups, must be submitted or tested at White Horse at least 24 hours prior to the movie or slide showing for compatibility testing.

Additional Notes:

– Please ensure all files are clearly labeled with the event name and date.

– Our team will handle the setup and operation of movie projections and assist with slide setup unless an external laptop or streaming setup is approved after testing.

– Slide operation remains the responsibility of the event organizer’s designated operator.

For any questions, to schedule a testing session, or for special requests, please contact our production team in advance.

Thank you for your cooperation in adhering to these requirements to ensure a high-quality presentation for your event.
