In addition to his training at the world famous Second City Dale has several viral videos on TikTok and has appeared on TBS – The Very Funny Show, Last Comic Standing, 30 Seconds to Fame and most recently on Stand Up Live Nashville seasons 1 and 2. Jason Scholder opens the show. About Jason:
“I have felt like a fish-out-of-water in every pond. Luckily, I found comedy. Now I can make the litany of life-choices that made me a pathologically-unemployable, single Jewish father of a mildly precocious, borderline anti-semitic daughter, living in The South seem funny!
As a 46th birthday present to myself, I decided to try Stand Up Comedy for the first time. I assumed I would suck, and it would never have to happen again. Unfortunately, I did okay. Someone, somewhere, called me “The Midlife Comic,” and I’ve been addicted to the stage ever since.
I’ve performed at The Comedy Store, Rooster T Feathers and The Comedy Zone and I’ve performed with internationally headlining comics like Sean Patton, Andy Hendrickson, Matthew Broussard, Spanky Brown, Julie Scoggins, Janet Williams and Sid Davis.
Now I host/produce my own shows of my own, including a combination showcase/talk show called, Talk About Funny and an all-Jewish comedy showcase called, Not Quite Kosher Comedy. In my spare time I interview comedians and civilians for my passion podcast, Learning To Fail.
I’m happy to have the opportunity to do what I love. I only wish it hadn’t taken me so long to figure out what that was! I’ve never felt so at home as I do on stage. Come to a show sometime! I’d love to see you!!”
