Spend an evening with these three incredible artists…

Cliff Eberhardt is a brilliant American folk singer-songwriter. He is a founding member of the Fast Folk Music Cooperative in New York City. Eberhardt joined Red House Records in 1997 and has recorded five albums for the label, the most recent in 2009, 500 Miles: The Blue Rock Sessions. In 2011, he released an acoustic album of Doors songs, All Wood and Doors, with fellow musician James Lee Stanley on Beechwood Recordings. Also that year, he contributed a cover to Nod to Bob II, a Red House compilation honoring Bob Dylan on his 70th birthday.

A powerhouse of the American folk scene, Cliff Eberhardt blends the grit of the blues with the sophisticated melodies of classic theater. After cutting his teeth in the legendary 1980s NYC Greenwich Village folk scene alongside peers like Shawn Colvin and Suzanne Vega, Eberhardt established himself as a critically acclaimed singer-songwriter. His illustrious career includes a Top 5 Album of the Year nod from USA Today, songwriting credits for Shakespearean theater (earning a Helen Hayes Award nomination), and national tours with the folk supergroup On A Winter’s Night. Renowned for his soulful vocals, masterful guitar work, and poignant songwriting, his music has been covered by industry icons from Richie Havens to Buffy Sainte Marie.

Ellis Paul doesn’t just write songs; he’s a guitar-carrying reporter who covers the human condition and details the hopes, loves, losses of those he observes, turning their stories into luminous pieces of music that get under your skin and into your bloodstream. And much like the artists who have influenced him, everyone from Joni Mitchell, Bob Dylan and Paul Simon to the singer-songwriter who is undoubtedly his greatest inspiration, Woody Guthrie, Paul weaves deeply personal experiences with social issues and renders them as provocative works that are as timely as they are timeless. Born and raised in Maine, Paul attended Boston College on a track scholarship and in the evenings became a fixture on the city’s open mic circuit. After winning a Boston Acoustic Underground songwriter competition, he caught the ear of folk luminary Bill Morrissey, who produced his indie album Say Something in 1993. This led to a seven album contract with Rounder Records and the 1994 album, Stories. His songs have appeared in several blockbuster films (Me, Myself, and Irene; Shallow Hal, Hall Pass) and have been covered by award winning country artists (Sugarland, Kristian Bush, Jack Ingram). Through a steady succession of albums of his own – a remarkable 23 releases so far – and a constant touring presence around the world, Paul’s audience has grown into a loyal legion of fans. Along the way, he has picked up an impressive number of awards including the prestigious Kerrville New Folk Award, 15 Boston Music Awards, An Honorary Doctorate from the University of Maine, the 2019 International Acoustic Music Awards Artist of the Year and most recently his album, The Storyteller’s Suitcase, was named the 2019 NERFA Album of the Year.

Don Henry Grammy Award winner Don Henry’s songs have been recorded by legends like: Ray Charles, Patti Page and Conway Twitty. By country crooners like: Gene Watson, John Conlee and B.J. Thomas. By young hit makers of today like:
Blake Shelton, Lonestar and Miranda Lambert…..and the list goes on. And he’s shared the stage with performers as diverse as Joey Ramone to Keith Urban. The wit and wisdom of Don’s songs are widely renowned whether it’s campfire favorites, the hilarious “B.F.D.” and biker lullaby “Harley”, to the wonderfully poignant tribute to Martin Luther King “Beautiful Fool”, and of course his Grammy Award winning country classic “Where’ve You Been”. In addition to a Grammy, Kathy Mattea’s version of “Where’ve You Been” won Don (and co-writer Jon Vezner) song of the year honors from ACM (Academy of Country Music), CMA (Country Music Association) and NSAI (Nashville Songwriters Association International). “Where’ve You Been” was the first song in country music history to be awarded all four honors in the same year!
