Above Ground has a distinct sound that will remind you of the best of classic rock, alternative, and Americana. They play catchy originals that will make you want to move your body. This band is led by singer/songwriter John Allen Keck who had a record deal with Epic records in the 90s. Lead guitarist, Rick Callahan, recently relocated from Atlanta to Asheville.  He has worked in bands that opened for Delbert McClinton, Stevie Ray Vaughn, and The Greg Allman Band. Bass player, Steve Cohen has played thousands of shows, from CBGB to clubs and theaters from Malmo to Miami.  As you listen to these talented musicians, you will enjoy a night of brand new classic rock.
