This evening is a Double Feature.  From 6:30-8 pm The Creative Strings Orchestra performs the music of Michael Jefry Stevens. Featuring over 25 musicians, including string orchestra and rhythm section. Pianist and composer Michael Jefry Stevens is a Black Mountain resident with an international reputation.

From 8-9:30pm is the world premiere screening of the feature film Redemption Time. Redemption/TIME is a collaborative work featuring acclaimed poet and memoirist Jimmy Santiago Baca and renowned jazz violinist Christian Howes. Both artists draw upon their transformative journeys—from incarceration to artistic acclaim—to deliver a performance that speaks to the enduring human spirit. Directed by Dr. David Gonzalez, the project melds spoken word and musical virtuosity to inspire audiences across the nation.
