Description
Presented by World Bridge Foundation, the Uganda musician and changemaker, Chinobay & Dance of Hope take the stage at the beloved White Horse Black Mountain for an unforgettable evening of music, dance, and inspiration.
This powerful performance weaves together soulful East African music, vibrant traditional dances, and the resilient stories of youth who are using the arts to transform their lives and communities. Led by Chinobay, this uplifting showcase features the young performers of Dance of Hope, Africa’s leading youth-based touring arts education program.
- Be moved by their rhythms
- Be inspired by their journeys
- Be part of a global story of hope, culture, and connection
This show will feature an appearance by singer Jordan Scheffer, a young artist and mentee of Chinobay. Born blind and weighing only one pound, Jordan came into this world challenging the very possibilities of life and survival. She remains the youngest child to survive as a micro-premature baby at Mission Hospital, in the musical mountain mecca of Asheville, NC, her hometown.
Presented by World Bridge Foundation, this is more than a concert — it’s a celebration of the human spirit and the power of the arts to build bridges across continents.
