We are excited to screen “The Jewel of the Town,” a golf documentary about the Black Mountain Golf Course. Filmmaker and Owen High graduate, Will Lance, gathered hours of footage focusing on the Black Mountain Golf Course, and says, “I want the community to come watch this movie, no matter how much they think they know or care about the course. One thing that stuck with me through this process is that it’s the people who live here that make the town what it is. So, in a lot of ways, this documentary is about Black Mountain more than it’s about this one issue.”
